I have way too many hobbies for my own good. I play and write music, make costumes, sketch, write, and probably a bunch of other stuff I can’t think of right now. I love to talk to other people about these things and share what I know, as well as learn from others who know better than me.

I got into cosplay as a teenager, and, boy, have I learned a lot since I started out. I didn’t have many opportunities to look up online tutorials for the things I wanted to cosplay, and usually when I stumbled across something, they were using materials that I was completely unfamiliar with or couldn’t get my hands on. So I had to figure out a lot of stuff on my own. When cosplaying, I focus on using cheap and common materials to make sure that I don’t break the bank, and to show people that just a little bit of creativity goes a long way!

Do you have your own techniques? I’d love to hear them!
